Yeah, its really just Tom's ridge, but its called Toms ridge because it was the first place that Wades brother Tom went BC skiing.  And today marked the first time Petro went out into the BC!  But lets start at the beginning.  When Petro Slept in.  Because we got a late start i knew we would have to either seriously hurry, or be late; Turns out it was better to do both.

We got to hiking about 7:15 and reached the lower ridge at about 8:05.

The lower ridge, like before, was a bastion of sheltered north facing goodness.  How good you ask?  Well, about 3 feet of 10% with no crust good.  It was actually deep enough that the slope wasn't quite enough to get the necessary speed.

when we got to the bottom of the short run, we knew we would have to go again.

So we did.
Petro, with Mt. Superior in the background.  It looks like he is enjoying himself.

Take a look at the way the sun is hitting that ridge...isn't it heaven?

on round 2 we all went a little higher.  Petro went to a higher milder slope with a longer run and coby and I, in search of steeps, kept heading uphill into the trees.
Here is Coby being happy about that decision.

I took a few pictures of Coby decending, but he forgot that you need goggles to withstand faceshots and was caught trying to put them on.

Coby and I traded Cameraman duties and he went off down the hill to take pictures of Petro and I.  No one ever gets pics of Pat.  He decided to go off a little jump, land forward and eat it.  Petro sailed on down the hill as Coby struggled to right himself from the crater he dug and My pictures were tainted with water.
Oh, well.  As a side note, we had one GoPro but the batteries ran dead right before the first run, and I had the HMC-40 but decided that after yesterdays disappointing snow it would't be worth it to bring....dang.
